Apple airs MacBook Pro with Retina display TV ad

A new ad for the MacBook Pro with Retina display aired today, just before the NBA finals. The commercial shows the laptop zipping through some photo and video editing duties, ending with a relatively simple tagline: "The radical new MacBook Pro with Retina display. Innovation in every dimension." We can't say for sure just how realistic the speed depicted here is, (or how realistic it's meant to be), but we suppose that's not really the point. The black background is a slight departure for Apple, but it does help put the focus on the display instead of the chassis. The understated nature of the ad certainly isn't a departure at all for Apple, as you can see when you watch it, below.
